“Pet the Cat and His Four Groovy Buttons”
Since our older bunny toddlers seem to love this book, we brought it to life through art and music. Bunnies made their own Pet with Four Groovy Buttons on his shirt, listened to the book many times, watched the video and sang along with the funny song that Pet keeps singing in the book.
It goes like this:
My buttons, my buttons,
My four groovy buttons,
My buttons, my buttons,
My four groovy buttons.
Each time one of his buttons pops off but Pet keeps singing!
My buttons, my buttons…. then will be 3, 2, 1, 0 and finally he loses all his buttons!
Although he loses them all, he is still happy that he has his belly button 🙂 🙂 🙂
It’s a great book for concept learning, having fun and being positive no matter what!
